Best free Ipad apps for babies and toddlers?

I bought an iPad recently and have a baby and a toddler. What free apps are available that are suitable for them? And also safe in use, thank you!

Do you mean apps to monitor your children, or apps for them to play with?

Yes there are excellent apps for monitoring children if you have an IP camera (or PC with a webcam, but the PC has to be on 24 hours). Works just great. Available for iphone and ipad.

Go the the categories or featured apps & games for kids. they have tons.

the sketchpad by adobe is a little difficult but with some practice is a very fun free app. I wish there was an in-between, because it is challenging to change colors and brushes for kids... somewhere halfway between it and a really simple sketch thing.
