Really sorry if it didn't work. I guess it must have been fixed so others wouldn't get the glitch, but they didn't fix the people who already had the diamonds. And to get coins after befriending the cliques, you just click on the last girl and it'll say you mastered the girl but you can still get coins. I guess.
