Is anyone else having problems sending gifts after the new update? Every time I try to send one it says the recipient is running an older version of the game and can't receive it. No matter the gift or person. I know for a fact that some have the update because their fans are maxed out at 200m.

I really like rewarding my entourage when they help me out and it's bothering me I can't do anything.

Any ideas? I haven't been able to send gifts to people who use cheats before, but i know these people aren't jail broken...and I don't have a jail broken phone either. Any money or stars I have were earned. So I know that's not the problem.

@A girl I haven't done that movie in so long. I remember that I did not confess. Instead I said another rumor about Holly. She evaded her taxes? I'm not sure though & even if you do lose fans, it won't be a lot. You don't have to worry.

@l2awkism that's been happening to me too! I just don't know why. Must've been a glitch in the update.
@badkittie0969 your movies have to be 12+ hrs. You can only get nominated for movies to; no tv shows.

But I do 12 hr movies even 48 hr movies I'm even with bling bling industries why can't I still get nominated.

The nominations are pretty random. Have you filmed the life sapling yet? That's the first one you should get nominated for. After that they should start rolling in randomly for any 12-48 hour projects you do. 48 hours is almost a guarantee for a nomination. Or at least a 50% chance. Oh, and the wins are random too. Even if you get all the answers right, you might not win. I've even won when I got an answer wrong.

@badkittie ....oh yeah, ephibicion is another one you're going to get nominated for definitely. So if you haven't been nominated for those and you filmed them with 4-5 stars then something might be glitchy.

I just a few mins ago go to new york then in the fairlady hotel i saw someone called simon thurgood he will help me said simon but the advice cost 5 charm and i have not enough charms i need one then i come back few mins later now it cost 7charms who will help me sorry if it too long or is misspelled

@A lister thanks! I just don't get why they can't do this in the game right now. The sequel looks basically the same (or the same goal anyways) but with different features.

I talked to Eva Ryan (my rival) in the neighborhood and she challenged me to get 5 stars on 4 sci-fi movies. I accepted and right after, Max called me and told me to do 2 sci-fi movies. This was about a month ago and I go on stardom about 4 times a day and he still hasn't given me a single sci-fi movie. Can anyone tell me how to get a sci-fi movie?
